Salame Nostrano Lodigiano Zanaboni is an excellence of Lombardy's delicatessen. Salme is a cured and seasoned salami, obtained from a mixture of minced meat and fat, spices and salt, all stuffed into a natural casing and tied by hand.
Aged for at least 60 days, it has a medium grain, a rustic, tasty but balanced taste. It is often eaten with fresh bread as an appetizer or peasant snack.
