GlenAllachie is a whisky with a unique character that owes its complexity to the Chinquapin oak barrels Quercus Muehlenbergii from the Ozark Mountains in Missouri. This oak variety, a relative of Quercus Alba, gives the spirit a spicy aromatic profile. After almost four years of air drying and a medium toast, the barrels perfectly balance the wood and the spirit, creating a harmony of flavours.

The color is intense and brilliant bronze. The aroma releases enveloping notes of heather honey, butter caramel and orange peel accompanied by accents of nutmeg and licorice. On the palate, nuances of heather honey, barley sugar and toasted biscuit emerge followed by citrus touches of orange peel and spices such as cinnamon, rose hips and licorice. A sensory experience balanced between sweetness and lively spicy nuances.
