The Chartreuse Elixir Végétal Liqueur 10 cl has its roots in 1605, when the monks of a monastery near Paris received an ancient manuscript containing the recipe of a great alchemist, with precious suggestions on the use of herbs to create an elixir of long life.

Even today, this secret recipe is guarded and used exclusively by the Chartreuse monks to create the famous Grand-Chartreuse herbal elixir. The formula calls for the use of 130 aromatic and medicinal herbs, macerated in high-quality alcohol, distilled, and then aged for at least three years in oak barrels in the historic cellars of Voiron.

The product comes in a small 10cl bottle, elegantly packaged in a wooden box designed to protect it and preserve its quality, avoiding exposure to light.
