The famous Sauvignon Blanc, known as "blanc fumé", is born in Saint-Andelain, in the heart of the Loire Valley, inspiring the AOC Pouilly-Fumé denomination.

Among its protagonists, Didier Dagueneau revolutionized viticulture with an artisanal and biodynamic approach, opposing industrial practices and creating wines of extraordinary expressiveness.

After his untimely death in 2008, his son Louis-Benjamin and his sister Charlotte continued his legacy with Domaine Didier Dagueneau, which produced iconic wines such as Silex, Blanc Fumé de Pouilly and Pur Sang, true symbols of Pouilly-Fumé.
