The family tree of the Maison J. Pérard shows that the Pérard family has been involved in viticulture since 1647, when they began their activity as ploughman-wine growers.

The family's roots are in Cernay-lès-Reims, but it was Édouard-Julien who moved to Ambonnay in 1928 to grow vines. In 1972, Jean-Paul took over, dedicating himself to the marketing of Champagne. Since 1996, the company has been led by Patrick, assisted for 16 years by his son Virgile, an expert in viticulture.

For four generations, the Pérard family has been producing excellent Champagne, respecting the tradition and savoir-faire inherited from their ancestors.
