Del Maguey San Luis del Río Azul Mezcal is a fine artisanal spirit produced in Mexico, in the San Luis del Río region, located in the mountains of Oaxaca. This mezcal is made exclusively with Espadín Azul agave, a rare variety and highly prized for its complexity and aromatic intensity. Each step of production follows traditional techniques, passed down for generations, to guarantee an authentic and high-quality spirit.

The agave plants are cooked in underground ovens with wood and stones, a method that gives mezcal its characteristic smoky profile. After cooking, the agaves are stone ground and ferment naturally in wooden vats, before being distilled in small copper stills. This rigorously artisanal process preserves the purity and integrity of the distillate, making it a unique product deeply linked to its land of origin.

On the nose, it presents a complex and harmonious bouquet, characterized by notes of citrus, honey and earth, accompanied by a delicate smoky hint. On the palate it offers a rich and soft texture, with flavors that range between tones of tropical fruit, vanilla and spices, balanced by a smoky and mineral aftertaste that prolongs the tasting experience.
