VIETTI

The Vietti winery, located in Castiglione Falletto in the heart of the Langhe, is one of the most prestigious names in Piedmontese and international wine. Founded in the late 1800s, it is now recognized as one of the companies that helped bring Barolo to the forefront of the world, thanks to a unique combination of tradition, research, and innovative vision.

In the 1960s, Alfredo Currado Vietti introduced decisive innovations, including the vinification of Barolo grapes from individual vineyards ( crus ), a practice now widespread but revolutionary at the time. The Vietti family has always believed in enhancing the terroir and producing wines that faithfully reflect the characteristics of each individual parcel.

The winery produces iconic wines in some of Piedmont's most prestigious appellations: Barolo DOCG, Barbaresco DOCG, Barbera d'Asti, Roero Arneis, and Moscato d'Asti.
The main grape varieties are Nebbiolo, Barbera, and Arneis, alongside targeted selections of native grape varieties.

Vietti wines are prized for their elegance, complexity, and aging potential. Labels such as Barolo Rocche di Castiglione, Barolo Ravera, Barolo Lazzarito, and Barolo Brunate are considered among the finest expressions of Nebbiolo.
The winery is internationally recognized, with very high scores from the main guides and magazines in the sector.
