Sober Basalt Queens Veneto IGT 2019
Sòber Basalt Queens 2019 it's a natural orange wine with a strong volcanic character , obtained from an artisanal blend of Garganega ( 60%) and Durella ( 40%) , grown on the basalt terraces of Roncà , in the eastern area of Verona.
The wine is born from uncompromising vinification : long maceration on the skins , spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts , no fining or filtration , and zero added sulfites. The result is a raw , vibrant, free wine that directly reflects the minerality of the volcanic soils and the identity of the native grapes .
In the glass , it presents an intense , slightly hazy golden color . On the nose, it expresses aromas of ripe yellow fruit , citrus peel , resin, white pepper , and hay , with an undertone of wet stone . On the palate , it is tannic, dry, and deep , with a vertical acidic tension provided by the Durella, and a savory , balsamic finish . that leaves its mark.
An unconventional wine and bold, ideal with Asian cuisine , aged cheeses , fermented dishes or spices , but also for meditation or for those seeking a different experience in every glass.
