Cébène Felgaria Faugères BIO 2018

The 2018 Cébène Felgaria Faugères is a red wine of great character, coming from the Languedoc-Roussillon region in southern France, and more specifically from the Faugères AOC appellation, famous for its schist soils that give elegance and freshness to the wines.

This cuvée is made from a selection of predominantly Mourvèdre grapes, along with Syrah and Grenache, typical Mediterranean varietals, carefully cultivated with respect for their terroir. The result is an intense and complex wine, with a deep ruby ​​color and a rich bouquet of dark fruits, spices, aromatic herbs, and light balsamic notes.

On the palate it is powerful yet refined, with ripe tannins and an enveloping structure that leaves room for a pleasant minerality and a long persistence.

The 2018 vintage enhanced balance and depth, making Felgaria an ideal red to accompany grilled red meats, game, spicy dishes, and mature cheeses.
