Chateau Sauternes Suduiraut Premier Cru Classé en 1855 2017
The 2017 Château Suduiraut Sauternes Premier Cru Classé is a great sweet Bordeaux wine, produced from the historic Preignac estate, classified as a Premier Cru in 1855. Located in the heart of the Sauternes AOC appellation, the vineyard enjoys a unique microclimate, where the influence of the Ciron River favors the formation of Botrytis Cinerea (noble rot), essential for creating wines of exceptional complexity and longevity.
The 2017 vintage stands out for its freshness, balance, and aromatic concentration. It displays a brilliant golden yellow in the glass. The nose reveals intense notes of dried apricot, mango, candied citrus peel, honey, and saffron, with mineral touches. On the palate, it is enveloping and velvety, with a rich but never cloying sweetness, supported by a vibrant acidity that extends the sip into a persistent and refined finish.
The 2017 Sauternes Suduiraut is ideal with foie gras, blue cheeses, pastries, fruit desserts, and spicy Asian dishes.
