Philipponnat Champagne Grand Blanc Grand Cru Extra Brut 2013

The 2015 Champagne Philipponnat Grand Blanc, the only exception in the Maison's range dedicated to Pinot Noir, is a 100% Chardonnay vintage from the best chalky terroirs of Champagne.

Vinified in steel with partial malolactic fermentation and in wood without malolactic fermentation, it ages on the lees for 7-9 years with a moderate dosage of 4.25 g/l.

With a light colour and lively foam, it releases elegant notes of citrus, white flowers, white pepper and spices. The palate, creamy and refined, evolves on nuances of mirabelle.
