Girlan Pinot Noir Riserva Vigna Ganger Alto Adige DOC 2021

Girlan’s Pinot Noir Riserva “Vigna Ganger” is an iconic label, born from a single vineyard grown on clay-limestone soils ideal for giving finesse and structure to this noble grape variety. The vinification involves fermentation in steel with 20% whole bunches and a long maceration on the skins for about 25 days, to best extract aromas and complexity.

This is followed by 20 months of refinement in French oak barriques, followed by 18 months in the bottle, to obtain a red wine of extraordinary elegance, depth and longevity.

In the glass it presents itself with a brilliant ruby ​​red with garnet reflections. The aromatic profile is intense and refined, with notes of raspberry, morello cherry, small red fruits, nuances of undergrowth, fine spices, balsamic and floral hints. On the palate it is deep, enveloping and velvety, with an elegant tannic texture, well-integrated freshness and a long, harmonious and persistent finish.
