The Spy PG40 Valtellina Superiore DOCG 2020

PG40 from La Spia winery presents itself with an intense ruby ​​red, while on the nose it reveals hints of ripe red fruits, especially cherry and strawberry, accompanied by sweet spicy notes. On the palate it is persistent, harmonious and characterized by a well-defined tannic texture.

The harvest was carried out exclusively by hand, with collection in crates, to preserve the integrity and quality of the grapes.

After destemming and crushing, fermentation takes place in French oak for three weeks. The wine then ages for 30 months, followed by a further 12 months in the bottle, developing a perfect balance between structure and complexity, with a well-integrated alcohol content.
