Trebbiano d' Abruzzo DOC by Emidio Pepe It is one of the most surprising and authentic expressions of Abruzzo white wine . Produced from an often underestimated native vine , in this biodynamic version it finds a new dimension made of intense aromas , evolutionary energy and territorial identity .

Grown in the vineyards at the foot of the Gran Sasso , on clayey and mineral soils and caressed by the breezes of the Adriatic , this Trebbiano stands out for a unique balance between freshness, flavor and aromatic complexity . The strong temperature variations give grapes full of aromas: on the nose, notes of rennet apple , sunflower, dried fruit , chalk and mushrooms open up , while on the palate it is dry, full and slightly imprecise , in the most fascinating sense of the term.

The winemaking is manual and traditional : pressing by foot in wooden vats , spontaneous fermentation in glass -lined concrete tanks without the addition of yeasts or sulphites, and no filtration. A true symbol of artisanal and natural viticulture , signed by the historic Pepe family , now in its third generation.
