The 2021 Piesporter Goldtröpfchen Riesling Spätlese from AJ Adam is a sweet wine of extraordinary elegance, coming from one of the most legendary crus of the Moselle: the Goldtröpfchen, in Piesport. This historic vineyard, facing south and characterized by steep slopes of Devonian slate, gives grapes of exceptional ripeness and aromatic depth.

The wine opens on the nose with intense notes of ripe peach, apricot, acacia honey and candied citrus, accompanied by a floral touch and mineral nuances. On the palate it is silky, with a perfect balance between the natural sweetness of the late harvest ( Spätlese ) and a lively acidity, which gives freshness and energy to the sip. The finish is long, refined, with saline and citrus accents that encourage another taste.
