Whiskey Kilkerran Heavily Peated batch N.4 70 cl

Batch 4 of Kilkerran Heavily Peated Single Malt was bottled in 2021 with an ABV of 58.6%. The whisky was matured in a combination of Ex-Bourbon and Ex-Sherry casks in a ratio of 80/20.

On the nose, there are intense maritime notes, accompanied by sweet peat smoke, a hint of campfire and a hint of floral earthiness. On the palate, the peat smoke dominates, enriched by nuances of crushed digestive biscuits, while a light licorice note develops, combined with a honeyed sweetness. The finish is long and powerful, with the peat smoke lingering, accompanied by characteristics of malt, cereal and a subtle oak inflection.
