Girlan Pasithea Oro Gewürztraminer Alto Adige 2023

Pasithea Oro is a fine sweet wine by Cantina Girlan, obtained from selected grapes from a single vineyard located near Lake Monticolo, in Cornaiano, in Alto Adige. The ideal microclimate conditions of the area favor the development of noble botrytis (noble rot), an essential element for the production of complex and elegant sweet wines.

The aromatic profile is rich and enveloping: it opens with notes of ripe apricot, quince and dried fruit, enriched by a lively hint of citrus. On the palate it is soft, full and round, with a persistent sweetness balanced by a pleasant final freshness.

Ideal as a dessert wine, it is perfect when paired with dried fruit or cream-based desserts, but it also pairs magnificently with blue, mature and spicy cheeses, offering a unique and surprising tasting experience.
